Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. Astrologers can say some pretty mean things about our personality quirks and I thought I would dig out as many names used for the aspects by various astrologers for an amusing and even psychologically disturbing view of some of our contacts. I will take a look at Sun - Moon aspects for this post and see what I can find out about these natives.
Sun conjunct Moon: Bunch of Whole Hoggers
Sun square or opposite Moon – Riddled with Insecurity
To be honest, there wasn’t as much dirt to be found on this aspect and one of your main difficulties was being “too insecure” and “too indecisive” so there is a great amount of polarizing going on. You are riddled with anxiety, self-doubt and uncertainty, toing and froing from one side to the other, and always being at odds with yourself. Some even believe your view on life is a little cockeyed.
According to experts in the astrological health field: Sun-Moon aspects can affect the eyesight. I have a brother with his Sun opposite Moon and he got shot in the eye with a pellet gun as a teenager and his eyesight has never been the same since. The two aspects of the self are separated from one another with this contact, but you are also sensitive and emotional and may suffer some difficulty with the opposite sex.
Sun Trine Moon– The aspect of “blindness”, smugness and “self-satisfaction”
Doesn't life seem harmonious when our male and female sides are in synchronization. The Sun and Moon form a happy marriage together. However, it is believed that there is also an aspect of impaired vision, reflecting the inability to see conflict and therefore problems are allowed to grow. This is the aspect of the male helping the female and vice-versa, so this is a super-supportive aspect, but if we take a look at the chart of serial killer, Myra Hindley, we observe a natal Sun-Trine Moon aspect, and it takes on a more ominous interpretation. The female (Moon) helping the male in his endeavours (Sun).
She worshipped Brady and was his willing helper, picking up kids for him and cleaning up after their murders.
The Moon depends on the Sun and without the Sun in our lives we would be driven by blind instinct, needs, and our insecurities. Without the Sun we wouldn’t feel a sense of individuality, purpose or meaning to our lives.
