I inadvertently stumbled upon the astrological chart of Kim Kardashian (see below), and found her Moon to be the most fascinating feature in her horoscope. The Moon is sitting in the 3rd house of siblings, but it is conjunct her I.C (fourth house) and is aspected by almost every planet. Most of Kim’s planets are above the horizon spanning across the 9th-12th houses with only the Moon and Neptune sitting in the lower half of the chart and forming a square to one another.

Astrologically the Moon rules the mother, aunts, sisters and the maternal line. The Moon is the most significant body for its relation to our deep and personal selves as well as our family dynamics. The lunar influence in our charts is also linked to our memories, dependencies, needs, and feelings of safety. The dominant feature of the Moon is realized in its need to belong, and we can better understand how our emotional overtones colour our family life by examining this part of our chart. The Moon conjunct the I.C on the fourth house cusp (ruler) has extraordinary emotional ties to the family.

When we have lots of aspects to a planet in our horoscope the planet has plenty of expression in our lives, and so Kim may be extremely feeling and as we already know - family orientated. Astrologer Donna Cunningham in her book “How to Read Your Astrological Chart” says that a “planet is also emphasised when it is one of the most aspected, especially if it aspects more than one of the Big Three…it is almost certain to be a keynote”

Kim is most famous for the reality T.V series on E that she shares with her Family in “keeping up with the Kardashian’s” the series focuses on the professional and personal lives of its members. For that reason I found it particularly interesting to see that her Piscean Moon was such an obvious feature of her chart.
